Long time since I’ve bore my emotions on my blog, in words plain at least. First time to everything I suppose, let’s hope this works out well.

During this period of time (trying times, might i add), I ~~may~~ have made a lot of mistakes, especially where dealing with relationships are concerned. And to the stakeholders I’ve hurt, I sincerely apologize, to those whom have met with any degree of displeasure seeing what I’ve done, I ask for you not to judge me tomorrow for what I did yesterday. As I’ve been trying to get across, I still maintain that I am open to discussion and criticism, because I know I’m nowhere close to being PG and if you’ll extend a hand, it’s something I truly want.

I’m fatigued; fear, jealousy, anxiety, euphoria, shock, disappointment, they’re a churning maelstrom around my heart, and my heart’s faltered, it’s spun off center, it just wants slack.

And for clarity’s sake, I’ll spell what I want out right here, right now. I just want to be with my brothers (and sisters), those weekend suntec movies, sashimi, swensens’ dares, airport study sessions, long bus rides, chilling out at a brother’s place and stuff. On top of that, I’ll add that these are all just bonuses, what’s of chief importance is the company.

As for romance, I think I should forget that.

I also want to thank those whom have stayed for being as graciously non-judgmental as I’ve imagined them to be, and those whom have shown concern for their (very touching) care.

Just as a note, I’m going to write stuff to specific people and because you’re not named doesn’t mean you’re not on the thank-list. Seeing that you’re here, you probably are.

Numb to the nuances of life, victim to the vicissitudes of fate; or what we colloquially term “life is messing me up”, often comes pretty handy when one finds a need to justify oneself.

However true it is though, is another question to be answered. Or perhaps, better left unanswered. After all, there aren’t many plausible reasons to have oneself ignominiously squander his life away. Self-motivation – name of the club nowadays.

Sure it isn’t lying, it’s engaging in disinformation.

So the study break’s started, people have got their pedals to the medal and are busying themselves with revision plans. What am I doing? Just going with the flow.

Speaking of flow, airflow in Singapore is horrid; it’s as if Singapore suddenly decided to emulate the outrageously punishing conditions of hell. Maybe Jollyn’s right, we should have municipal efforts to combat global warming, and keeping ourselves in an air-conditioned bubble is a good start. I shudder at the notion of having to bear with temperatures higher than this in the near future; glacially chilling it is.

Because the internet (or perhaps just mIOfail in particular) can be annoying at times, I’m just leaving you with this before I retire.

Ian’s awesome at writing, he’s the only person by far whom has shown me that essay collaborations can work out without compromising quality (not that i didn’t already believe it before his demonstration). To put it simply, the ink flows just as well, if not better, in his hands.

What’s amazing - although apparently dull in juxtaposition with his writing skill - is that this isn’t even an attempt at a eulogy, I’m just truly impressed. Impressed by : how he enraptures his audience with feats of dazzling verbal and metrical virtuosity; his artful language use; the daedal hand of literature he commands deviously etc. All done, with the humility he displays most humbly in saying “It’s nothing,”. It’s nothing, because it’s nothing in this world.

That my blog posts are becoming increasingly curt should not have eluded your cognizance, for evidence of such a phenomenon is verily in abundance.

Answering why it is so leads me to imagine a glacially chilling notion – that my language command is declining by the ~~day, minute,~~ second, you get the idea – which is patently untrue.

In concert with a very recent resolution, I leave us with a little message.
